New Taipei City has been actively promoting smart city initiatives, hosting international forums for five consecutive years. In 2022, the city was awarded the Top1 Global Smart City from the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) . Furthermore, in 2023, New Taipei City became the world’s first city to obtain the ICF’s smart city full certification. This year, the ICF extended a special invitation to New Taipei City to co-host the “2024 ICF Top7 Global Cities Announcement” on June 19. The event was meticulously prepared by the New Taipei City Government, with Deputy Mayor Chen Chwen-Jing and Director Leu Jang-Hwa from the Administration of Digital Industry, Ministry of Digital Affairs, welcoming esteemed guests from around the world.
