To encourage people from all walks of life to actively take part in sustainable development efforts, the NCSD has established the "Selection and Commendation Plan for National Sustainable Development Awards" and organized the “National Sustainable Development Awards” every year since 2004 to recognize Education, Corporations, Civic Organizations, and Government Agencies that have made outstanding contributions to the goals of sustainable development and helped raise awareness nationwide.
